About the Organiser

The Department of Law, Manipal University Jaipur, offers B.A. LL.B. (Hons.), B.B.A. LL.B. (Hons.), and LL.B. programmes designed under a Choice-Based Credit System (CBCS), aligned with NEP and BCI guidelines. The department fosters outcome-based learning and aims to develop ethically grounded and socially responsible legal professionals. Green Horizon Club is an environmental initiative of MUJ promoting sustainability, conservation, and eco-conscious legal action through student-led events and outreach.

About the Competition

The 2nd International Client Counselling Competition 2025 is a hybrid event offering law students an opportunity to simulate real-world client interviews, legal analysis, and ethical counselling. Following the success of ICCC 1.0, this edition builds on experiential learning, teamwork, and professionalism.

Who is it for / Eligibility

• Open to law students enrolled in 3-year or 5-year law degree courses at any recognized institution.
• Each institution can register up to three teams.
• Each team must consist of two members.
• LL.M., diploma, part-time law students are not eligible.

Location

• Preliminary to Semi-Final Rounds: Online via Google Meet
• Final Round: Offline at Manipal University Jaipur, Rajasthan, India

Important Dates

• Preliminary Round: 25 August 2025 (Online)
• Quarter-Final & Semi-Final Rounds: 26 August 2025 (Online)
• Final Round: 4 September 2025 (Offline at MUJ)

Registration Fee

• INR 3,500 per team (non-refundable)
• Accommodation for finalists will be available separately at an additional cost (includes stay, food, local transport)

Prizes

• Winner: ₹20,000 + Trophy + Certificates (both counsels)
• Runner-Up: ₹10,000 + Trophy + Certificates (both counsels)
• Best Counsel: ₹5,000 + Trophy + Certificate
• Best Client: Trophy + Certificate
