China's 14-year epic war featured in victory exhibition

To commemorate the 80th anniversary of the Chinese People’s War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression and the World Anti-Fascist War, the Museum of the War of Chinese People’s Resistance Against Japanese Aggression is presenting a special exhibition titled “For National Liberation and World Peace.” The exhibition opened to the public on July 8 and will remain on permanent display.

Featuring 1,525 photographs and 3,237 historical artifacts, the exhibition presents a chronological and panoramic retelling of China’s 14-year heroic struggle against the Japanese invasion from 1931 to 1945. Through a multidimensional display of rare artifacts, archival documents, historical footage, artwork, and recreated wartime scenes, the exhibition highlights the indispensable role of the Communist Party of China during the war and underscores the significant contributions of the Chinese people to the global victory over fascism.
